Overview
To give further impetus to the various activities, being implemented in the field of sports and to Encourage the all round development of the students, the Sports Council has been formed and a number of Inter-School Competitions will be conducted in a variety of sports. Students who excel in any particular sport will be identified and given special coaching under the supervision of our Physical Education Teachers.
The daily routine at school incorporates sufficient time allocation for sports in the academic schedule. In an era, when sports also forms a sound career option, coaching in games and sports is essential. So students of all ages take part in sports under expert guidance for enjoyment, relaxation and to keep themselves fit. To promote sports in a very professional way.
It has an excusive council, called the Velammal sports council. The talented students are spotted and given adequate training to complete at national and International level. Velammalans the Champions in several major events, achieved distinction in sports, athletics and tournaments conducted at state an national levels lessons in martial arts are also provided for interested students.
