Velammal Educational Trust and Centre for Environment Education, are pleased to jointly announce the competition for discovering the young climate change ICON of the year 2009 Award to find the Young Scientist for solving Climate Change Issues. For 20 years we have played a key role in Bringing young people together to stimulate interest in science, nature and environment.
The “2010 Young Climate Change ICON”, a Competition jointly conducted by the Centre for Environment Education and the Velammal Educational Trust, Gathers the South India's most Creative, Intelligent and resourceful high School students from over 500 schools, across four states to compete for a Trip to NASA, Laptop, Desktop, IPOD and more.
In 2010, will assemble a large number of finalists, leading scientists and researchers along with the judges and for the South India 's Largest School Competition. This innovative event is an extraordinary opportunity for Schools to establish corporate name recognition, nurture future science development and encourage advanced education.
Three different Competitions Research, Quiz, Essay Writing will severely grind the students to demonstrate their understanding of scientific fundamentals combined with creativity in project areas to find answers for the boiling issue of the Century – THE CLIMATE CHANGE.
