MASTER KARTHIKEYAN MURALI IS WORLD CHESS CHAMPION - RUNNER UP

Master Karthikeyan Murali won Silver Medal in the World Chess Championship held at Turkey from Nov 17th to Nov 22nd 2009. He scored 9 points equalling the other top two candidates on board. He was given a warm welcome by the Tamil Nadu Chess Association, his classmates and parents on 25th Nov 2009 at the chennai airport.
